Ever since he inquired of her as to what she wanted to do for her birthday, Adrian Pucey had learnt something about Tracey that he never knew about beforehand. That she was extremely stubborn and refused to give up when it came to certain topics; he knew that he would
never participate in broom free-falling, but that probably wouldn't stop her from trying to convince him to do it with little to no avail.
There was something else that remained prominent on his mind as a result of the journal post. That simple "oh" when he told her that he was planning on meeting up with Seamus later today. He didn't know the reason why she had responded that way and wasn't going to inquire why she reacted that way as well. He also wondered why she had jumped to conclusions about the whole scenario in the first place. Did she really think that he wasn't seeing Susan anymore? As a mater of fact, he was certain that as of right now that he didn't want to see somebody else other than her.
So, here he was waiting for Tracey to arrive at La Plumage for their lunch date. Oddly enough, it felt uncomfortable to address the whole situation as a date, because he knew that it wasn't going to go about in that way. Plus, he was interested in Susan and the two of them were just friends. Nothing bad could come as a result of this. Nothing. At. All.
He looked down at his watch, noticing that it was 3:07; he told her to meet up with her at 2:00, yet he knew that she was going to be late -- he just didn't figure that she would be
this late. He was glad that he actually took the time to make another reservation, just in case. He should've known that she wouldn't make the 2:30 reservation, so hopefully she would make the one he had for 3:15. If not, he didn't know what to do.
( I'll have to find something to do tonight. )
